If you're happy with testing, you can use the enthusiast version, which based on debian testing. The upgrade process for solydxk is same with debian stable

Re: How to copy Firefox-esr bookmarks to another OS

When I Install FF on a new machine, I like to transfer : - bookmarks - search engines (and the keyshorts I use — a lot) - passwords - way to handle the links (.pdf, .whatever) The best way to do this I found : replace in the new machine's FF profile the following directories / files with your source...

Re: [solved ... and then not !!!] kworker is killing my machine again ...

The beast is dead ... almost. Searching the net, I found this post : https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/398520/kworker-consumes-high-cpu-for-external-hard-drive Following the poster, I tried, as root, to identify which ACPI interrupt was disabled ma machine, and found, as indicated, one interr...

Re: AMD graphics: radeon, amdgpu, amdgpu-pro

I have a late question : I've found this debian page which tells me how to install amdgpupro, and it seems (for me) quite complicated, but I'm going to try. For years, I've had sound control through my keyboard, with such commands with «pactl set-sink-volume 0 -5%», «pactl set-sink-volume 0 +5%», «pactl set-sink-volume 0 toggle», and «quodlibet --play-pause», which I had, through xfce4-keyboard-settings, associated with the XF86AUDIO (lowervolume, raise...

Re: problem with gdebi (SolydX, ee) [SOLVED]

Little question : this morning, as I booted my machine, I was prompted by «/usr/bin/env» for my root password. Never happened before. Could it be linked with the new gdebi packages ?
