I have recently discovered ungoogled-chromium https://ungoogled-software.github.io/un ... ble/64bit/ but updates alway take a while and there's no easy automated way ... It deserves a honorary mention because it contains important functions for web developers that are disabled in debian chromium (for some very formalistic reasons). Apart from that there are not many differences to debians chromium so it's not worth the hassle.

Back to Waterfox: https://www.waterfox.net/blog/waterfox- ... d-system1/. He sounds reasonable. Let's wait and see.

I installed waterfox 2020.02 on February 24, 2020 under SolydK 10 64-bit, because Firefox-esr 68.5oesr stopped working with a vendor's website that I use to order parts. I chose not to import bookmarks, but maybe that was a mistake. So far I have only used waterfox for that one particular website. I will use it more as time goes by. Thank you for that URL which provides a summary for waterfox-classic by its writer.

A few years ago, I tried chrome or chromium (don't remember which) on another linux distribution, but I didn't like it, so I uninstalled it right away.
