Greetings from Poland

Postby wojtek » 17 Jun 2013 13:04

I am a retired physics teacher from central Poland, die hard fan of linux.I am a long time Linux desktop user. First experiences I did with Mandrake and Debian. Frankly saying I used to be a distro hopper, I have tried Kanotix, Simple Mepis and Linux Mint(KDE). For the couple of years I kept on waiting for the distro with Debian stability and KDE environment and I just found out about SolydK.
I am not a linux expert but I think I could be helpful in translations. I have almost completed polish translation of packages and they will be ready this evening. If you agree I can start to translate SolydXK tutotials.
Thank you to all the SolydXK Team. Keep up the great work.

Well, I can see here some reasons to be both of us new SolydK users. As you, I am also a retired lecturer (but in Electronics), used during a time Mandrake and SimpleMepis, a very nice and stable distro for Debian + KDE lovers as us. Hope you can feel 'at home' with SolydK as I do.

Greetings from Catalonia.

Funny, I worked as the lecturer at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering for more than twenty years :)I do feel at home with SolydK. As ancient Romans used to say: "A thousand roads lead men forever to SolydXK" :)
