@Ray,
Any chance you could list your Conky details. Always a great fan of landscape backgrounds.
Here's a link http://db.tt/z4uAngFE
...Note: updated a bit.
to a similar ~/conkyrc from a pendrive install.
I'll update the link when I get back to my desktop in about 8 days,
where I added Activity by MEM as well as CPU on the desktop.
I'll put it all in English as well.

And here's the landscape only, http://db.tt/4jQjkTGX

Thanks.

A simple SolydX desktop. The only funky thing is the Xfce panels at the top pushed below the windows using wnctrl.

Great photo behind the conky. Where is it from?
Reminds me of the sidux Desperado shot.

I really don't know know where the pic is from.
I use wally on my system and it puts in random sky and space photos for my background.

I did some checking with the Search by Image (by Google) addon for Chrome and it looks like it's a Flickr pic of Vancouver and Seattle called McClellan Viewpoint • Night Sky. I use a program called Webilder that snags images from Flickr as well and it finds some really gorgeous pics for my wallpaper. Unfortunately I have to run it in Mint 14 in a VirtualBox since there's a dependency that can't be met by Debian repos. It's a pain but some of the images it finds are well worth the hassle
